Connectivity Challenges in Indonesia : Strategy and Policy in the Development of Broadband Wireless Access Technology Best Suited to Reduce the Digital Divide Problem in Indonesia

(02 December 2008, Bali) The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Republic of Indonesia organised a seminar specialized on MWBA on 27 November 2008. iBurst Association (iBA), PT Pata Informatika Nusantara and Kyocera Corporation from Japan are the co-host partners.

The seminar was held with the objective to invite new technologies providers to brainstorm on the challenges and opportunities to manage and realize the connectivity in a very diverse country with 230 millions population, with over 17,000 islands and 69,065 villages without phones, such as Indonesia.
